“ It's the taste of home. been in London for two weeks, this place serves the most authentic Chinese i've had in London. I highly recommend this place! ”
“ Just next to Euston station, I stopped here after getting off a train and had a very authentic Chinese breakfast. I got the variety platter, which comes with 9 different dishes for around £13, as well as a cup of soy milk. I'm not sure if the dishes change over time, but mine had a meat bao, 2 dumplings, tea egg, condensed milk, porridge, scallion pancake, a side dish, fried dough stick, and fried milk buns. It was a good variety of food and I was very full by the end. I only wished that they would provide wifi to their customers. They had it, but wouldn't give me the password. It would've made the experience a bit better ”
“ Nice restaurant. We got cocktails during happy hour and a bowl of noodles with great taste. *To anyone reading. Just know the happy hour is 2 for 1 which is amazing, but when ordering let the waiter/ waitress know if you're sharing. A group of 4 ordered drinks and they were about to bring 2 drinks for each of us! ”
“ What is a murger? It's a made up nonsense word. Any way, it is shocking to find such an amazingly authentic Chinese restaurant in the middle of London. Xian is the ancient capital of China, end of the Silk Road. Therefore, Xian food is Chinese food with a middle eastern flare. The namesake of the restaurant, murger, is momo, a baked bread you can put random meat inside or put it in a soup. We ordered the murger with cumin beef. Order it spicy. It taste like a spicy gyro. Amazing. For the main course both my wife and I both had the beef biang biang noodle. Thick hand pulled noodles over an inch thick, in a flavorful broth, with 5 different toppings of meat and vegetables. The tomato and egg is definitely reminded me of home cooking growing up in China. My wife was born in America and this bowl of noodles blew her mind. So if you are anywhere near this place, drop in and try it. ”
“ Needed a quick pick me up before going into the main train station so decided to stop by here and was surprised that there wasn't a ton of people for lunch, so it was super easy to get a table. - Clay Pot Dish, Mixed Vegetables in Chicken Broth with Rice Noodles - Definitely my favorite dish out of the two. The amount of ingredients they have in here is actually incredible with peanuts, two different types of tofu, and three different kinds of vegetables included. Honestly, extremely worth it as a dish. I also appreciate the rich soup, we asked for slightly spicy and it wasn't too spicy but the heat was there to elevate the dish which I very much appreciate. - Hand-Pulled Noodles, Tomato & Egg - Wasn't as big of a fan of this one. Didn't feel like the portion sizes were terribly big because they gave the dish out in a pretty big plate but I did appreciate the amount and variety of ingredients though. Wish there was more tomato in it as it was egg heavy but I did like the two different kinds of vegetables. Overall, not a bad place to stop by before going into the train stations. Also they let us sit here for some time which is honestly incredibly nice of them. +1 for the creative menu, the menu seriously was super cute as it felt more like a picture book with all the different illustrations in it. ”
“ Glad to be back! Last year I visited here I was impressed with their 肉夹馍! Very close to the original style in Xi'an! Now I moved to this country, partially for this. Their羊肉泡馍is very good! 凉皮is OK ”
“ Great handpulled noodles with chili sauce. Loved the fish sauce and the ginger topping. Really adds to this dish compared to similar venues. Simple, cheap, lovely. ”
“ Best noodles you'll ever have. Get the biangbiang with braised pork, unless you don't like spice. Drink an ice peak with it. Somewhere between Fanta and Irn Bru, but better than either. This location or the one on Sackville Street are both great. Sackville Street location has a nicer setting, though. Food's great but service is slow, so don't go in a hurry. ”
